We are delighted to introduce Fanny Lehmann, the latest addition to the GlobalMass team.
Fanny is part of the University of Bristol’s 2020 MScR cohort in Global Environmental Challenges and will be working to answer the question: ‘How is the global water cycle responding to climate change?’
Fanny is a graduate mathematics student from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She comes from Grenoble, a city in the French Alps surrounded by mountains, and is naturally passionate about mountains, a place where climate change is so undeniable that it impacts our lives. Fanny sees mathematics as a tool to model the world and help to predict its evolution. Her MScR project focuses on the impact of climate change on the water cycle as part of the GlobalMass project, where it will contribute to the Hydrology work package.
