We are delighted to welcome two new faces to the GlobalMass project team.
Stephen Chuter has been appointed as a Research Associate in polar remote sensing and sea level change. Stephen is currently a PhD researcher within the Bristol Glaciology Centre, studying the application of satellite radar altimetry to better understand ice shelf dynamics and Antarctic mass balance. He will join the GlobalMass team when he submits his PhD in July 2017.
Stefan Hofer is a PhD student co-funded by GlobalMass and the NERC Black and Bloom project. Stefan has been working on the role of clouds in the recent melting of the Greenland ice sheet, using satellite and climate model data.
