Three of our project team attended the ERC10 @ UOB event in Bristol on 13th March 2017. The event was organised by the University of Bristol to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the European Research Council (ERC) with an afternoon of talks and demonstrations from the ERC and a selection of ERC grant holders.
Jonathan Bamber, Maike Schumacher and Zhe Sha represented GlobalMass – itself funded through an ERC grant – and were on hand during the poster session to talk about the project and answer questions.
The week of 13-19 March 2017 was ‘ERC week’, with many similar events held in ERC-funded institutions across Europe. The University of Bristol is ranked 6th in the UK for ERC funded research with 54 grants awarded to date.
